This rare and very early print of Adams’ famous Frozen Lake and Cliffs was originally a gift from Adams to his friends Della and Herman Hoss. Herman Hoss is mentioned in Adams's autobiography as someone who took part in the pageants at the annual Christmas Bracebridge dinners at Yosemite.
