Whaler’s Cove, Carmel Mission, California
Print Notes
There were a few variant murals of the image with different cropping and sizes. As is typical of these majestic works, the image was printed in 3 horizontal sections and mounted together to make the overall composition. Upon close inspection, 2 seams are visible running the width of the print and along these seams are several small perforations where the two sections have been joined. These areas are expertly obscured with deposits of retouching.
